WestCoast Midwives is a diverse, busy midwifery practice. We are seeking an upbeat, experienced midwife for a locum position. The ideal candidate will be supportive of a broad range of "best options" that suit clients and their babies throughout pregnancy, the birthing process and beyond.
This is an opportunity to be supported in a busy, well-managed practice with excellent administrative assistance and electronic charting.
Good references are a must. Knitting/crocheting skills a plus.
No grumpybears or stress cases.
Must love dogs.
Non-fertile crones are welcome. Those who aspire to someday acquiring this status are also welcome.
This position is open from February 1, 2012 to August 31, 2012. Shorter terms (minimum 1 month) are welcome.
This is an excellent opportunity to have a look at Victoria midwifery with a good possibility of a permanent position.
