General Registrant Locum Position

WEST END MIDWIVES - TORONTO

West End Midwives is looking for a General Registrant to join our practice as a locum starting in March 2012.

About West End Midwives:

• We are a practice of 11 midwives located in the north west of Toronto. We provide care for women in West Toronto, Etobicoke and Rexdale.
• We have privileges at William Osler Health Centre - Etobicoke General site where we practice “full scope” and have good inter-professional relationships.
• We are a shared call practice with midwives typically working in teams of two and rotating between clinic and call duties on a weekly basis.
• We provide care to a diverse population.
• We are about to celebrate our second year anniversary

We are looking for a midwife to fill a half time locum position starting in March 2012 for likely a 6 month position.  This position has become available as one of our midwives has unexpectedly had to go on a leave of absence.  We hope this position may become permanent;  further discussion about long term possibilities will occur with those selected for an interview.
