Job opportunities – Two one year maternity leave positions available

Two one year maternity leave positions available in busy Langley practice starting April 1, 2012 and July 1, 2012 with potential for long term employment.   The registered midwife would be working in a shared care model of approximately 4 clients each/month.      The Family Health Clinic Naturopathic Physicians and Registered Midwives work with a multi-ethnic population including Karen Refugees, and other Pacific rim groups, and families from the early European farming community.

     We have privilages at both Surrey Memorial and Langley Memorial Hospitals.  We have been well received at all sites and have been involved with the MOREOB program which is also offered at each hospital.  Langley is a fast growing area with many young families.  There are two other midwifery practices in the area and we all have waiting lists of prospective clients. The Fraser Valley is still quite rural with opportunities for trail walking and horseback riding, and has a variety of organic farms, and a weekly farmers market in the summer.
