Brandon Regional Health Authority is currently recruiting a Midwife to fill a full time position. This individual will work collaboratively with other professionals and function as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team to provide effective, comprehensive midwifery service to childbearing women and their families. The priority populations to be targeted for this service will include women who currently do not receive adequate prenatal health care and are socio-economically high-risk clients, as well as those who reside in the under-served areas. All services will be delivered in accordance with the Midwifery Model of Practice and the Standards of the College of Midwives of Manitoba.
