Job opportunities – Full Time Midwifery Position

Qualifications: The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Graduate of an education program approved by the Saskatchewan College of Midwives (Transitional Council)
  • Current active practicing registration with the Saskatchewan College of Midwives (Transitional Council)
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation including intubation (NRP)
  • Owns or has access to a dependable vehicle that is available for use at all times.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Demonstrated competence to be privileged as a midwife under the practitioner staff bylaws
  • Previous experience working as a member of an interdisciplinary team is an asset
  • Previous experience working with a multicultural and disadvantaged populations is an asset
  • Eligible for liability insurance coverage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours in order to meet client needs
  • A Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry Check will be required
