Short- term (2 to 5 weeks) locum position for SUMMER 2011 open for Registered Midwife in well-established, experienced group midwifery practice in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Clinic located in beautiful character home in the Old Orchard area of Downtown Courtenay. Small hospital with OB and pediatric specialist services. Excellent contract and accommodations provided.
Comox Valley is a highly desirable location on the ocean with spectacular mountain back-drop. Area offers many outdoor recreational opportunities including skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, kayaking and canoeing. The area is also a cultural center for music, theatre and the arts.
