Job opportunities – Full-Time Locum Midwife

North Shore Midwifery Care in North Vancouver, a two person shared practice, is looking for a locum for approximately 5 – 6 weeks coverage between 3 June and 10 July 2011. The office is based out of Quayside Village and has office support. We have privileges and practice support from the nursing, midwifery and medical staff at Lions Gate Hospital and we provide services to 6 – 8 women a month.

Ideally, we’d like a full-time locum to cover all work and call coverage for 70% of billings during that period.

In lieu of a 70% full-time locum package, a casual locum is another possibility.We could manage with assistance with 9 clinic days and 4 - 6 days call coverage.We do have some flexibility in how we can book our clinics. We would use the C&W Department Midwifery fee schedule to remunerate more casual locum work.
