Quebec – Kujjuak (Baie d'Ungava)

FUNCTIONS:

Assumes follow-up on pregnancy, deliveries and immediate post-partum cares of mother and child as well as the postnatal follow up until 6 weeks.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a professional mid-wife practice authorization from Province of Quebec;
Must be register at “l‘Ordre des sages-femmes du Québec” before the beginning of the employment;
Working experience with selected type of client;
Update certification in advance neonatal reanimation;
Update Certification in obstetrical emergencies;
Fluent in English and French (spoken and written);
Ability for team work;
Excellent communication skills;
Available and flexible;
