Full Time Midwifery Position Available   

For a New Registrant or General Registrant for a 12 months period, 

with the possibility of an extension.   

Start Date: June 21st, 2010   

Join the vibrant community of Commercial Drive in East Vancouver, British Columbia.  As a four midwife team, you will enjoy 10 days off-call a month, 1 to 2 days of clinic a week and 24 hour call shifts.  We value providing excellent care for our clients and a balanced lifestyle.  With time off throughout the month, you will enjoy exploring beautiful British Columbia. Our catchment area is downtown and East Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlum and New Westminster.   Our home birth rate is 30% and we have four hospital choices available to our clients.  We use a secure online resource, OSCAR, for our client's charts and labs allowing easy access to charts from any location. As we are committed to an atmosphere of mutual respect & equality, we look forward to applicants with excellent communication skills & a welcoming approach.
