Job opportunities – 2 Partnership positions for Registered Midwives

13 June 2011

British Columbia – Langley

The Family Health Clinic in Langley, British Columbia is looking for more midwives!

Established in 1982 by Dr. Ted Sleigh, ND and then partnered with Dr. Cathy Carlson-Rink ND, RM in 1995, our busy clinic serves families from birth to old age providing naturopathic medicine and midwifery care.

The practice gives home to two solo registered midwives and two registered midwives working in partnership. All the midwives have a fully established case load, many repeat clients and a waiting list every month.

Due to retirement of one of the registered midwives, we would like to offer partnership positions for two registered midwives. Preferably we would like a starting date of December (part time) moving to full time in January 2012.
We mostly deliver at Langley Memorial Hospital and have a wonderful working relationship established with the staff and OB's. We are also always welcome at the brand new hospital in Abbotsford and level 3 Hospital in Surrey.
We also provide care for Karen refugees in our area and interested applicants would be providing care for this group.

Langley is positioned in the middle of all the beauty of the Lower Mainland. Only 40 minutes away from the citylife in Vancouver, close to lots of trails and parks and not to forget the birthplace of BC, gorgeous, historical Fort Langley with it's boutiques and restaurants.

Please contact us if you would like to explore this opportunity: Ph. (778) 865 4238, email: igna.hoebergen@gmail.com
Looking forward to hearing from you!
