Birth Partnership Midwifery services are seeking experienced Registered Midwives to join our busy urban practice. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic midwife who enjoys the balance of homebirth and hospital births. Since 1996 Birth Partnership Midwifery Services has supported a "community of caregivers", from a variety of educational backgrounds.  All the midwives at Birth Partnership are dedicated to providing women & families with safe, childbirth alternatives. As individuals with unique personalities we share a common philosophy, to meet the needs of mothers and families, providing them with as positive a pregnancy and birth experience possible. Birth Partnership Midwives work in teams of two to four. As a practice we share administrative services and provide back-up to each other when required. However, each team has their own caseload of clients, and function independently. Financial compensation is through a course of care model, as negotiated through the Alberta Association of Midwives with Alberta Health Services.
