Our 2 ½ day conference program will offer a variety of scientific and philosophical presentations on issues that influence midwifery and maternity care in Canada today. We will explore the challenges and controversial questions arising around the maternity care crisis, sustainability and the promotion of normal birth as our profession grows across the country. Our conference will also address current clinical topics related to midwifery practice.

Call for Abstracts!

CAM / ACSF invites midwives, researchers and other care providers with special interests in maternal and newborn care to share their expertise and reflections. We welcome both oral and poster presentations, in English and/or French. Simultaneous translation will be provided during the conference if funding is available.

Topics could address issues such as:

• Leadership and promotion of normal birth
• Sustainability in maternity care
• Clinical research
• Educational innovations
• Program and policy initiatives
