Canada has won the bid to host the 31st Triennial Congress of the International Confederation of Midwives in Toronto, Ontario in 2017!

In order to make the 2017 Congress the most accesible Congress yet, CAM is working hard to ensure that midwives from around the world are able to attend.  In particular, CAM has set up a trust fund to be used to support midwives from underresourced countries to attend the Congress in 2017.

Part of the fundraising effort for this trust will be through the sale of charm bracelets representing the profession of midwifery.  A first charm, the pinard, is available now, with a second and third charm to be available at the ICM Congresses in 2014 (Prague) and 2017 (Toronto).

This custom crafted sterling silver charm bracelet celebrates the importance of midwifery around the world.  Ten percent of every purchase will be donated to the CAM 2017 Trust Fund to bring midwives from underresourced countries to the Congress in Toronto.
